Men’s rectangular glasses frames in colourless crystal acetate, with a metal mesh insert on the temples. Full thicknesses. Made in Italy.
The EX0813 is built on a rectangular front with sharp edges, a straight upper rim and outer corners cut clean. Thicknesses are full all the way round and the bridge sits low and squared: the drawing is assertive, but the material neutralises it completely. The acetate is colourless crystal, not a tinted transparent: it carries no colour at all, and on the face the frame comes down to little more than its outline, with the internal structure and the joints visible straight through. It’s the right call for anyone who wants real volume without colour adding weight to it, or who doesn’t want to commit to a tone that has to work with everything else. A fine metal mesh insert runs along the inner side of each temple, visible through the acetate and effectively the only chromatic element on the frame.
