Men’s double bridge eyeglasses in an aviator shape, in matte black acetate. Lightweight build and a wide format. Made in Italy.
The EX0782 brings the aviator drawing onto a prescription frame, where it shows up far less than on sunglasses. The lenses keep the teardrop cut, the lower rim widening and dropping away, and above them runs the double bridge bar, sitting clear of the nose bridge: that opening is what makes the frame instantly recognisable. The acetate is matte black, a satin surface that absorbs light rather than reflecting it and keeps the frame more discreet than its format suggests. The build is deliberately pared down: the rim profile is slim and the temples narrow and straight, with a reinforced screw hinge and two exposed rivets on the front. The result is a wide frame that sits light on the face — anything but a given at 57 mm.
