The EX0808 is an elongated oval, the lenses running horizontally and closing to a point at the outer edge: the curve stays soft above and below, but the side vertex is sharp, and that’s where the frame gets all its character. It’s the shape that best balances square faces or a strong jawline, softening the lines without flattening them. Thickness is this model’s second strong choice: the rim is full and generous, far more than an oval calls for, and the frame gains presence while keeping a contained footprint on the face. The acetate is havana tortoise, amber markings over a dark ground that shift from piece to piece — a natural acetate, so every frame carries a unique pattern. Solid temples in matching tone, wide at the hinge and tapering to a curved tip.
