Men’s eyeglasses frames in clear grey acetate, octagonal with a double bridge. Full thicknesses and pronounced volume. Made in Italy.
The EX0796 is the most constructed frame in the men’s range. The front is octagonal, with cut corners replacing rounded ones, and above it runs the double bridge bar, set apart from the nose bridge by a clean slot. Thicknesses are very full and the profile is squared off on every side: this is a frame that shows on the face, and means to. The clear grey acetate is what makes that volume wearable. A front this thick in a solid colour would read heavy; here the crystal lets light through and reveals the internal structure, the veining in the material and the hinge joints, lifting the weight off it. It’s a warm grey leaning towards smoke, so it doesn’t cut against the skin the way a neutral crystal would. Temples wide at the hinge, shaped and tapering towards the tip.
